Malaysia merdeka!?

Nothing much to say about our own independance day.

1) Malaysia need to have it all. If singapore have Ah bengs, Malaysia have Mat Rempits.

Australia have their slang ("Ello there mate!), Malaysia have theirs (What la you ni!).

2) In America, you say "You suck Bush!!!" and some people agree. Here, "You suck B_D_W_!" and ISA shove you into prison for two years no reason given, no court, no anything.

3) In other states, people gives out fliers to glorify the concert. In Malaysia, they give out fliers to protest it although there is nothing wrong with it.

4) To start a QA conference. "Thank you for that question, the truth is....."

Malaysia: "Correct correct correct correct! Cooorrect! Correct!"

6) When in Malaysia we ask foreigner where are they from, they answered easily (I am American, Irish, etc)

When we are in foreign land:

Malaysian: I am a Malaysian!

Foreigner: Which Malaysian? Chinese Malaysian? Malay Malaysian? Indian Malaysian?

i can add nothing more about that. =.=

7) Other drivers: Red light stop green light go. Malaysian drivers: Red light drive faster, green light accident.

Seriously, i rest my case. Malaysia boleh! (tapi lambat sikit).

The end of Beijing Olympics

Aww man, USA won the basketball...
Anyway, it was a good show. Sadly all good things have to come to an end.

All i can say is i really enjoy watching all the sports available. (Rude: *cough* Beach volleyball you mean?, Calv: What? Err... Let's just leave that alone)

One thing for sure, the closing ceremony was as good as the opening.

And Leona Lewis perform with Jimmy Page playing the guitar was damn good!

Jimmy can still rock on a guitar!
Great performance and i can't wait for the next Olympics which will be held in London!

Did anyone notice anything while watching the closing ceremony?

But don't you think Jimmy Page look a little like our own PM? (With the exception of Jimmy Page's eyes was "awake" [sarcasm towards PM] and he is much cooler than PM)

Unlucky day at home!

Dang, today was quite tiring! After the taking a lot of photos, i obviously went back home feeling tired.

On my way back, the rain starts to pour like mad!

i ran until i fell down at da grass (Happy: There are no cuts! And we go rolie rolie rolie!, Calv: It still hurts though!)

One thing for sure, once i enter my block, the rain suddenly stops as it comes! Seriously, WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ABOUT??? Dang, aren't i one lucky fellow.

If that is not all, when i come back, i found out that the window was open.

My comics are wet!

Okay, there is more! Most of my friends know that i am not train to eat spicy food.

So when my grandmother went to out and leave me with the fried rice, it was super spicy!

I was frantically searching for some cool drinks.
I got a Sprite from the fridge and because i shake it quite hard accidentally, this is what happen:

It was a 1.5 litre Sprite. Yea, my hands are all sticky and i need to mop floor!

My wonderful pants are all wet!!

For now, while typing this entry nothing bad has happen yet. And i hope it stays that way!

Nadal got gold!

Yes!! Rafael Nadal won the gold medal in tennis men's singles!

Respect for the man although was laughing at his old statement "i play good tennis no?"
Too bad for my mum as she is not a fan of Nadal, she likes Federer even before he is the no. 1 tennis player.
At the bright side, Federer won the tennis men doubles gold medal.

But the good news for me to hear is, starting tomorrow, Nadal will be world no. 1, ending Roger Federer's 4 over years of being the top player in tennis.
All i can say like every other people is that it is a good year for Nadal!
Hope that he can keep up his no. 1 status for a long time.
Rafael Nadal, the king of clay court and finally the top player in tennis singles!

Next match for me is badminton men singles, final.
A battle between our own Lee Chong Wei with China's Lin Dan.
Of course i am hoping for Chong Wei to win!

Sem break over

Well, one month pass quite fast for this sem break.
Well, at least i did not waste that much time.
Just go out with friends, help around the house (Wisdom: Well, it does happen though hard to believe it., Calv: Hey, i help a lot at home!)
And i do spend a lot of time watching olympics since a lot of my favourite sports are all in 3 weeks.

New semester is on this Monday and i hope that the subject that i choose won't kill me.
A little bit happy with my results for my finals though.
Well, nothing much to type here right now because i have been sitting in front of the idiot box.
For now, i shall watch athletes and then retire to bed.

Olympic

"Let the games begin" aas they say it in every olympic i guess?
Will be watching football, basketball, swimming, diving and another one which i forgot what it is.
Anyway, hoping that all the countries i support do well.
i am really impressed for the opening as it is really really good. Especially the part where the man starts to "run" on the wall.
And i guess people know what happen to the confiscated fireworks in China. All for the fantastic opening act.



So sports nowadays aren't about "how you play the game"
It is now "Winning or losing is nothing because winning is everything!"
With all the glory and stuff available, it is no surprise that the sports people are doing anything to win.
No more fun, but just plain pain to gain.
It doens't matter to me. Just going to watch it and enjoy the game.

Besides that, holiday is going to end. Dang, so many things to do, so little time!!
The holiday seems too short to me...
And yes, of course i am envious of my friends who seem to have two or three months holiday!!
Aww man.. Well, got to make full use of the days left then.

People

Had a nightmare last night. Was vivid as all the rest of my nightmares.
Well, i'm not here to talk about it because i know what it is.

i realize something after that nightmare. it's not that i hate people or a certain kind of person.
i just hate the society.

All i know is that during my secondary school days, like a normal teenager, i try to fit in.
Thinking that i must belong somewhere, doing things i don't normally do just to prove that i am the same as them.
And when i actually fit in somewhere, i don't feel right. i don't like it. i just want to break out.
Sure, i'd bring this habit until now but atleast i can ignore it as it won't triumph over me anymore.

I remember my parents said "So your friends is more important than your family?"
No they are not but that doen't mean i put my family first...
Sure you may think that i don't respect my family or whatever thoughts that go through your mind, but this is who i am.
i put nothing first actually and yet i don't put everything as an equal either.
For now, i have a fear of being one with the society.
i try not to grow attach to anyone in particular (although that doesn't seem to work) and if i did, something bad will happen, be it my fault or it is just force of nature.

At the end of my secondary school days, i learn to break apart from so-called "groups" and "gangs".
Do i regret it now? i don't think so. No, i do not regret it!
In time i may just be someone in a crowd, but i am still me.
i am still a little insecure about myself but heck, i can deal with it!
And to top that off, i know what is important in my current life.
So i just need to hang on, and believe me that i have the patience and will to do that.

Creativity

i'm having some problems with templetes in my blogspot. Guess, i'll have to get more details on how to use it.

Just wondering though, people have problems right? Even i have my own problems and i evade them by making stupid, silly, dumb, whatever-called-it jokes (Happy: They are good jokes!, Calv: Well, sometimes i guess, and sometimes not).

So how does one solve their problems? Don't ask me, i don't know. i am just human like all of you.

All one need is to be creative. So, again how? i make jokes to run from problems, i make jokes to ease my problems, and sometimes i infuse my problems in jokes to solve it myself.

Don't get it? Don't worry, just think about it for a moment.

Got that from my pet sis leftover of her project. Actually sort of like to cover up the project, err.. curtains before the show.

i am not talking about problems, just to talk about being creative.

It doesn't matter on what matter. Just be one, on how you look life itself.
Nowadays, people had been complaining a lot (Wisdom: Well, you too right?, Calv: At least i did change some how right?, Wisdom: You could put it that way i guess.).

"Oh crap, petrol price rising, now i am going to spend more"
"Electricty bill is up, now off the lights!"
"I can't study this! It's impossible"

Be all that and you are in a box or just really square. Think creative solutions and not just complain. Don't blend in, stand out!
One way or another, people have to admit that their life sucks! Atleast there is one thing you can do, accept it and make your life "suck" nicely. You have to choose which way to go; left and right or fly and walk.
i can just type down all this but i am going to do it as well.

Remember "1 + 1 = 2" ? It doesn't have to be that way, it can be a house or whatever your mind takes you to. Calv out!
